AFRICAN BIRD PEPPER
African Bird Pepper can grow up to 3 feet tall, alone or in pairs or trios. The white and yellow flowers bloom between April and September, and the plant's leaves are ovate. It has a woody stem and branches that hold the leaves and multiple fruit pods that come in shades of red or yellow
Origin: Cameroun.
Flavor/Aroma: It s a strong pepper, three times stronger to the Cayenne Pepper. This pepper is noted for its hot, sharp pungency.
Use: African Bird pepper adds heat and bite to seasoning blends, meats, pickles, seafood, and Italian, Indian,Mexican and Caribbean cuisines.Red pepper is used in seasoned salt, chili powder, jerk, and Berber, seasoning blends.
